Connecting Two Fox F6000 Inverters to Two EP5 Batteries – Advice Needed
Hi all,
I’ve got two Fox F6000 inverters and two Fox EP5 batteries. Ideally, I’d like to set them up so that either inverter can charge or discharge either battery – effectively sharing the battery bank between the two.
Has anyone managed this? From what I understand, the F6000s don’t officially support battery sharing across inverters unless there’s some sort of master/slave or parallel setup – but I’m not sure if that applies here.
Would love to hear from anyone who’s done this, or if Fox has a parallel controller or firmware that makes it possible.
Cheers,
Adrian
Hi,
In regards to adding batteries onto the F6000's this isn't possible as they are grid-tied inverters, in order to have batteries on your system/property you would need a hybrid inverter, which is able to be set in parallel, and have batteries added with it.
