Hi,

If you go onto the device section onto the app and tap onto the battery under setting's it will give the option to enable and set the force charge from grid.

@agushberisha , I don't see the settings as you describe them I'm using the foxcloud app ver2.2  .   With an ess 10-5-h system.

Hi,

If you go onto the device section of the app it will come up with AQIO-1 if you have the EVO. If you proceed you will see a setting's section, and if you tap onto that and then the dropdown arrow on the side of system time, you will have the option to set a force charge.

You should also be able to set them up on the quick setting's under advanced setting's and same dropdown arrow.

Hi all, I’m having a similar issue. Since the iPhone app updated earlier in the week, I cannot find how to schedule a forced battery charge in the app.

Previously you went into Devices then clicked the battery and there were four items in the settings tab - to set the System Min SOC, the backup cut-off SOC and two timed slots for scheduling the forced charge from grid. Those last two have vanished.

I can still set timers from the Fox Cloud web page, but this is a lot more annoying and it feels like the timers not being in the app is a mistake, or they’ve been moved.

Can anyone help me find how to fix this or find where they’ve been hidden? Do you need more info from me? (Pretend you’re talking to an idiot if you do - all this is new to me!)

Thanks,

Tom

I have exactly the same issue: the scheduler to force battery charge appears to have been removed from the app this week

i have found that if you log into your account from a computer rather than using the app you are able to set the tine slots it much be a dodgy app upgrade

Hi all, thanks for your respones,  I raised a ticket with fox via the app, below is there response to me.

"

Dear Customer

Please tap work mode in Plant page and tap self use them you will see Mode scheduler. If you want set charging time, please tap the battery in device.

Thanks for your continuous support  "

wasn't an answer to the question I raised with them, and if you go there you don't see the settings you already have, so if I do change something here I don't know if it changes those i've already made or just adds more.

frustratingly bad support from fox. 1 star for them is just 1 to many.

Thanks for that update. It appears they haven’t noticed that they have broken the app yet. Customer Services are saying what should happen, not what does happen after this update.

I will raise a ticket with them too.

@trog , I raised one ticket via there website never got a response, then raised another a few days later via the app and got a response in 2 days, don't know if it was luck or not.

if i go into workload on front screen of app, then select mode schedular , then the 2 blue arrows on the right, then under advanced   "mode schedular" i can set up forced charge etc.  i'm also playing with export priority as well now we are getting some good weather. Could do with a good manual for the app. Hope this helps

Hi,

If you refer to this link https://fox-ess.tech/setting-force-charge-schedules-fox-cloud-version-%e2%89%a5-2-2-0/ it will explain how to set up the force charge's through mode scheduler but also the legacy force charge time's are set up through the desktop, it is all explained on the article.

Thanks Agush - that looks like the solution. We all need to update our firmware. How annoying that they couldn’t communicate this beforehand!

Now - to work out how to update it!
