2Inverters same Plant?

Hi All,

We have two inverters servicing two separate arrays, and on the App I can see both dongles showing (one online, the other offline) and one inverter

Is it feasible to have two inverters as part of one Plant or must they be separate?

If they have to have their own plant, can we have two plants in the same app?

If we can see the second dongle but cannot connect is this a config fault on that dongle/inverter or is it likely to be broken?

Thanks in advance.

Hi.  You can do this either way.  You can have two inverters under one plant or you can have two plants under one account and alternate between them using the plant name dropdown.

@admin Thanks that is v.much appreciated.

Out of curiosity if an inverter has a dongle in, and i cannot connect the app to it does that suggest either a fault in the dongle or the inverter (given i have had no trouble connecting to the inverter immediately adjacent to it?  (p.s. my wife tried using the app on her phone and couldn't connect either).

Hi, this looks like it would need further investigation. If you follow up and email our services leave in the the dongle and inverter serial number and we will be able to move forward and fix this issue for you.

Our email is service.uk@fox-ess.com.
